Libro d’artista: Dialoghi tra un pino e una betulla

Un’opera sulla comunicazione tra gli alberi. E’ ormai certo che esista uno scambio di informazioni e nutrienti tramite una rete sotterranea che si avvale di filamenti fungini (micelio). Non solo competizione nelle foreste, ma anche mutuo soccorso. Una corteccia di pino e una di betulla fanno da copertina ad un foglio acquarellato e piegato: da un lato si riprendono gli intrecci in superficie e dall’altro le interconnessioni sotterranee. 

\ A work on communication between trees. It is now certain that an exchange of information and nutrients exists through an underground network that uses mushroom filaments (mycelium). Not only competition in the forests, but also mutual aid. A pine bark and a birch bark cover a watercolour sheet: on one side, it picks up the weaves between the branches on the surface and, on the other side, the underground interconnections.
